This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

Happy New Year! Classes start in 2020 on Saturday 4th January.

All agility classes running as normal on Saturday except NO 2.30pm class this week or next. Week 4 of Pup Good Manners is on at 2.15pm Saturday

Train and Maintain classes restart from Monday 6th January 6.45pm and Thursday 9th January 1.30pm.

Wednesday agility will restart on Wednesday 8th January

Outdoor Recall class is on Saturday 18th January this month

Pup agility is on Saturday 25th January this month.

Natural Instinct food can be collected from barn from 4th January on Saturdays between classes, on Mondays from barn at 6.30pm, on Tuesdays from barn between 6.30pm to 8pm or from Hampton Park vets between 8.15pm and 9.15pm, on Wednesdays from Avon Lodge vets between 7pm and 9pm, on Thursdays from barn between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, on Fridays from barn betwen 11.30am and mid afternoon. Please text to say you are coming if you are not just collecting at a normal class.

First Pup Agility this year is on Saturday 25th January (its always last Saturday in each month!)

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased before or after classes, picked up before vets classes or other times by arrangement with Sue

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. Classes will resume in Spring 2020 when we have lighter evenings.

From January 2020 Train and Maintain classes will be on every Monday at 6.45pm and every Thursday at 1.30pm . These are for dogs who have already attended a Pup course or Beginner course at funfordogs or have attended training classes elsewhere and want to continue with regular classes.

First Beginner Basics course next year will start on Saturday 11th January 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Bookings now being taken.

First Outdoor Recall class next year is on Saturday 18th January at 1pm.

First Puppy agility class next year is on 25th January at 1pm. Suitable for pups between 6 months and 1 year old. See below for more details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are Saturday daytime and Wednesday lunchtime (need to book this lunchtime one only). These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Last agility classes this year will be the Christmas agility on Saturday 14th December 1.30pm start. First classes next year will be on Saturday 4th January 2020

Next set of agility workshops planned for mid February 2020, Sundays 10.30am to 12.30 noon. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and they can then follow on with weekly agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops and you only need to attend workshop 2 if pup has attended 3 or more pup agility sessions.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

Classes and workshops are held at funfordogs training centre at Wagalot Barn, Stockbottom Farm, Pitton SP5 1SU (just 5 miles north of Salisbury with easy access from A30)
