This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

Wagalot Barn will reopen for classes on Saturday 6th January with classes held at vets for young pups restarting on Wednesday 3rd January

Puppy Behaviour courses held at vets for pups from 8 weeks to 16 weeks old restarting on Wednesday 3rd January at Avon Lodge vets Salisbury and Thursday 4th January at Stonehenge vets Durrington with Hampton Park vets classes restarting on Tuesday 9th January

Puppy Good Manners courses held at Wagalot Barn for pups under 20 weeks old at start of a course will restart from Saturday 6th January (week 4 for those started last year) with new courses starting on Monday 8th January, Saturday 13th January, Tuesday 16th January and Friday 19th January. New Beginner Basics course for any dogs older than 20 weeks if they have missed out on younger pup classes will start on Saturday 20th January.

Monday evening and Thursday afternoon Train and Maintain classes which run weekly are restarting on Monday 8th January and Thursday 11th January.

First set of Agility Workshops in 2018 planned for late February (date to be finalised)

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased during any periods when classes are running or by arrangement over holiday period.

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. Classes will recommence Spring 2018.

Next Beginner Basics course start date planned for 20th January at 3.30pm. This course can be booked by email or phone.

First Outdoor Recall class this year is on Saturday 13th January.

First Puppy agility class this year is on Saturday 27th January. See below for eligibility details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are on Winter times - Saturday daytime and Monday daytime except there are no lunchtime agility classes on first Monday in the month.
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

First set of agility workshops this year are planned for late February and are usually held on Sundays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and follow on with weekly agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops and you only need to attend workshop 2 if pup has attended 4 or more pup agility sessions.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.
