This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

Lots of changes happening in April!

Evening agility is now running on Wednesdays at 6.45pm starting 5th April

Gundog classes running on alternate Mondays at 6.45pm starting 10th April

Monday evening Train and Maintain running on alternate Mondays with first one on 3rd April but none on any of the Bank Holiday Mondays - sorry!

No classes from Good Friday until after Easter Monday except Easter agility on saturday 15th April - see below

Easter agility is on Saturday 15th April at 2pm for anyone who is already attending classes after having completed workshops. If you have not attended Easter agility before then you need to know its great fun, not at all serious and we finish up with an Easter peg hunt where you dogs find "smelly" pegs in the fields and wood and you swap pegs for eggs!

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. We also do some river work sometime during the Summer.

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased during any periods when classes are running or by arrangement.

Next Beginner Basics course starts on Saturday 22nd April 2017 at 2.15pm and still has spaces. This course can be booked by email or phone.

Next Outdoor Recall class this year is on Saturday 8th April.

Next Puppy agility class this year is on Saturday 29th April. See below for eligibility details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are on Summer times - Saturday daytime, Wednesday evening and Monday daytime except there are no lunchtime agility classes on first Monday in the month from March onwards.
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Agility workshop 1 is cancelled on Sunday 9th April and is now on Sunday 23rd April with workshop 2 now on 14th May (workshop 2 is only suitable for participants who have either done workshop 1 previously or have done 4 or more pup agility classes).

More agility workshops planned throughout the year. Places need to be booked on these workshops..

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

New course suffering setbacks on start date for dealing with over reactive dogs - sorry!.

Our Wag And Tone e-book is all about exercises you can do with your dog, with or without music. Its aimed at any level of fitness of dog and owner and its suitable for individuals or training instructors too.
