This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

NO 2.30pm Agility class this Saturday 7th December, sorry.

Starting to wind down for Christmas now although Pup Behaviour classes at vets will run upto 19th December and last Pup Good Manners course will start on Tuesday 10th December 6.45pm to 7.45pm and run for two weeks before Christmas and two weeks after.

Christmas Train and Maintain classes are Thursday 28th November, Monday 9th December and Friday 7th December. Classes will stop following their respective Christmas classes and restart from Monday 6th January.

Christmas agility will be on Saturday 14th December from 1.30pm with no classes in the morning that day and classes restarting on Saturday 4th January

Sorry, no pup agility in December so first one in 2020 will be on Saturday 25th January after the last class this year on Thursday 30th November.

Natural Instinct food can be collected from the barn whenever there is a class on, from the respective vets during Pup Behaviour classes on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings and at other times by arrangement with Sue. Christmas food times will be texted to all regulars nearer the time too.

Last Pup Agility this year is on Saturday 30th November (its always last Saturday in each month!)

Train and Maintain classes running upto their respective Christmas class on Mondays 6.45pm to 7.45pm and Thursdays 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased before or after classes, picked up before vets classes or other times by arrangement with Sue

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. Classes will resume in Spring 2020 when we have lighter evenings.

Train and Maintain classes on every Monday at 6.45pm and every Thursday at 1.30pm . These are for dogs who have already attended a Pup course or Beginner course at funfordogs or have attended training classes elsewhere and want to continue with regular classes.

First Beginner Basics course next year will start on Saturday 11th January 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Bookings now being taken.

First Outdoor Recall class next year is on Saturday 18th January at 1pm.

Last Puppy agility class this year is on 30th November at 1pm. Suitable for pups between 6 months and 1 year old. See below for more details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are Saturday daytime and Wednesday lunchtime (need to book this lunchtime one only). These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Last agility classes this year will be the Christmas agility on Saturday 14th December 1.30pm start. First classes next year will be on Saturday 4th January 2020

Next set of agility workshops planned for mid February 2020, Sundays 10.30am to 12.30 noon. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and they can then follow on with weekly agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops and you only need to attend workshop 2 if pup has attended 3 or more pup agility sessions.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

Classes and workshops are held at funfordogs training centre at Wagalot Barn, Stockbottom Farm, Pitton SP5 1SU (just 5 miles north of Salisbury with easy access from A30)
