This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

All classes running throughout June except for Pup Behaviour classes at vets on 6th, 7th and 8th June and Pup Good manners classes on 5th, 6th and 9th June.

Puppy courses for pups from 8 weeks to 20 weeks old starting regularly - see below.

Beginner Basics courses for pups from 20 weeks onwards if they have missed out on pup classes.

Gundog classes running on alternate Mondays at 6.45pm with next one on 5th June.

Monday evening Train and Maintain running on alternate Mondays with next one on 12th June.

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. We also do some river work sometime during the Summer.

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased during any periods when classes are running or by arrangement.

Next Beginner Basics course starts on Saturday 17th June 2017 at 2.15pm and still has spaces. This course can be booked by email or phone.

Next Outdoor Recall class this year is on Saturday 10th June.

Next Puppy agility class this year is on Saturday 24th June. See below for eligibility details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are on Summer times - Saturday daytime and Monday daytime except there are no lunchtime agility classes on first Monday in the month.
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Next set of agility workshops are Workshop 1 on Sunday 18th June and Workshop 2 on Sunday 2nd July. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and then agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

Our Wag And Tone e-book is all about exercises you can do with your dog, with or without music. Its aimed at any level of fitness of dog and owner and its suitable for individuals or training instructors too.

Classes and workshops are held at funfordogs training centre at Wagalot Barn, Stockbottom Farm, Pitton SP5 1SU (just 5 miles north of Salisbury with easy access from A30)
