This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

Wagalot Barn open for agility and puppy classes on Saturday 5th January and classes at vets recommence from Tuesday 8th January.

. Train and Maintain classes restart on the following dates - Thursday class on 10th January and Monday class on 14th January.

Saturday daytime agility restarts 5th January, Monday lunchtime agility restarts in February and Wednesday lunchtime agility runs from Wednesday 9th January but please text Sue Tuesday if you are planning to attend this class as its the one thats only run on demand.

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased before or after classes, picked up before vets classes or other times by arrangement with Sue

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. Classes will resume in Spring 2019.

Train and Maintain classes on every Monday at 6.45pm and every Thursday at 1.30pm. These are for dogs who have already attended a Pup course or Beginner course at funfordogs or have attended training classes elsewhere and want to continue with regular classes.

Next Beginner Basics course starting on Saturday 2nd February 2019.

First Outdoor Recall class this year is on Saturday 12th Janaury at 1pm.

First Puppy agility class this year is on 26th January at 1pm. Suitable for pups between 6 months and 1 year old.See below for more details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are on Winter times (see above) - Saturday daytime and Wednesday lunchtime (need to book this one only).
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

First set of agility workshops next year are restarting at end of February, Sundays 10.30am to 12.30 noon. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and they can then follow on with weekly agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops and you only need to attend workshop 2 if pup has attended 4 or more pup agility sessions.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

New course for dealing with over reactive dogs planned for Summer 2019.

Our Wag And Tone e-book is all about exercises you can do with your dog, with or without music. Its aimed at any level of fitness of dog and owner and its suitable for individuals or training instructors too.
