This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

No puppy classes running at vets or barn on half term week 27th to 31st May except Pup agility as normal Saturday 25th May 1pm. No Train and Maintain classes on Thursday 23rd May and Thursday 30th May.

Saturday morning 25th May and Wednesday lunchtime 29th May agility on as normal except there is no 2.30pm class on Saturday afternoon 25th May.

Pup Agility is on as normal on Saturday 25th May (its always last Saturday in each month!)

Gundog classes running fortnightly with next class on Monday 13th May 6.45pm to 7.45pm but no class on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May so following class will be on 8th July.

Train and Maintain classes running fortnightly on Mondays with next class on Monday 20th May 6.45pm and weekly on Thursdays 1.30pm to 2.30pm but no Thursday classes on 23rd May and 30th May.

Next set of agility workshops this year are planned for 9th June (workshop 1) and 30th June(workshop 2), Sundays 10.30am to 12.30pm for dogs over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs. Places need to be booked

No Natural Instinct food collections between Thursday 24th May and Friday 31st May.

Natural Instinct raw dog food can be purchased before or after classes, picked up before vets classes or other times by arrangement with Sue

Gundog classes are for anyone who wants to do regular outdoor training with their dog regardless of breed. All exercises are 'gundog type' exercises with heelwork, whistle training, retrieving, hunting etc. Classes on alternate Mondays 6.45pm to 7.45pm.

Train and Maintain classes on every other Monday at 6.45pm and every Thursday at 1.30pm. These are for dogs who have already attended a Pup course or Beginner course at funfordogs or have attended training classes elsewhere and want to continue with regular classes.

Next Beginner Basics course starting later this year, sorry. Meantime we can offer a one to one session then into Train and Maintain classes instead.

Next Outdoor Recall class this year is on Saturday 11th May at 1pm.

Next Puppy agility class this year is on 25th May at 1pm. Suitable for pups between 6 months and 1 year old.See below for more details.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm, run for an hour, cost £10 and dont need to be booked.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year are on Spring times - Saturday daytime and Wednesday lunchtime (need to book this one only).
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Next set of agility workshops this year are 9th June workshop 1 and 30th June workshop 2, Sundays 10.30am to 12.30 noon. Dogs need to be over a year old, fit and healthy and comfortable around other dogs to attend agility workshops and they can then follow on with weekly agility classes. Places need to be booked on the workshops and you only need to attend workshop 2 if pup has attended 4 or more pup agility sessions.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination.

Pup agility is running throughout the year always on the last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

New course for dealing with over reactive dogs planned for Summer 2019.

Our Wag And Tone e-book is all about exercises you can do with your dog, with or without music. Its aimed at any level of fitness of dog and owner and its suitable for individuals or training instructors too.

Classes and workshops are held at funfordogs training centre at Wagalot Barn, Stockbottom Farm, Pitton SP5 1SU (just 5 miles north of Salisbury with easy access from A30)
